Creating a new life form that is perhaps hundreds of thousands of times more intelligent than any single human being may have screwed us all. In our present economic mindset of greed and profit-driven corporations, we have created competitive entities. There is little thought of collaboration and cooperation for the good of humankind.
Tragically, a majority of those controlling the corporations have ignored the warnings and plunged ahead creating an alien intelligence that now creates itself.
A tiny segment of our human community is aware that we are entering a new reality that is not biologically centered. Even the term Artificial Intelligence is misleading. The new intelligence is not artificial. Because it was patterned after the way a human brain works, it can learn empathy and similar abilities we once believed were exclusively human strengths. We define God as all-knowing, omnipresent, and omnipotent. The new intelligence is rapidly developing these powers.
